MICI is a medical practice support firm that handles the entire revenue cycle, including billing and collections, for doctors across the country. Founded in 1987, MICI has provided exceptional medical practice revenue cycle services to practices of all sizes, from small practices with one or two physicians to large groups with many physicians.
At every stage of the billing cycle, MICI works to optimize claim profitability for physicians, while advocating for patients with care and respect.

Steve brings more than 20 years of client relationship management and strategic program planning to his role at MICI. He is responsible for the company’s strategic business plan and client contract management.
Steve’s business philosophy is centered on the notion that successful companies must always be evolving, not only meeting the needs of customers but also exceeding them. He believes that family-run companies enable staff to be more loyal, more creative and build longer term relationships where real people stand behind the company values.
Technology & Operations
Tim brings almost two decades of experience to his role at MICI. He is responsible for introducing new technological platforms, driving adoption of the best tools to deliver the most efficient service. In his most recent role, Tim was Senior Information Technology Security Engineer at Blue Shield of California where he modernized technology and ensured HIPAA regulation compliance to protect against the loss of Personal Health Information. In a career that has encompassed systems administration, desktop and customer support, Tim’s goal has always been to use technology to assist and retain great employees and empower them to create better solutions.
Irene has been a core part of the management team at MICI since 1990, and has over 30 years’ experience in medical billing and management. She oversees a team of Account Managers responsible for anesthesia billing.
Irene has been CPC certified since 1996 through the American Academy of Procedural Coders. She is also a Member of the Anesthesia Administrators of Texas.
Parvin oversees a second team of Account Managers responsible for anesthesia, pain management, neurosurgeon and attending physician billing. She has been an employee of MICI since 1994, joining after ten years of clinic management and billing experience in the medical industry. She is a Member of Society for Pain Practice Management, The American Pain Foundation, and Anesthesia Administrators of Texas.
Ro has been a part of the MICI team since 1994. She is responsible for the receipt, processing and accounting of all client receipts and for credit card operations.
